Vice President

As Vice President, Amy Tidovsky is charged with aligning Global Conservation’s programs with catalytic funding opportunities.

Amy has been working at the intersection of philanthropy and conservation for more than 25 years, serving in state, national, and international roles at The Nature Conservancy (TNC), including as Director of Development in North America and, most recently, as Vice President of Development for the E.O. Wilson Biodiversity Foundation.

Career highlights include securing the private match for a debt-for-nature swap for tropical forests in Indonesia, transformational fundraising for a US “50-state” climate strategy, developing TNC programming to connect US philanthropy to conservation priorities across Latin America, Asia, the Pacific, and Africa, and supporting the E.O. Wilson Biodiversity Foundation’s contributions to 30x30 globally.

Amy holds master’s degrees in literature and journalism and a BA in English from LSU. Amy is based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and is proud to be part of a conservation family, with spouse and adult children all deeply involved in efforts to protect nature and animal welfare.
